During the last weekend of 2007, I decided to bite the bullet and enlist as many females as I could for a boudoir photo marathon, inclusive of make-up and hair: FOR FREE!
Now, I know this sounds a little nutty but I had the right idea. I wanted to capture various personalities, body sizes and ethnicities and the response was amazing! I had never met any of these women before but bonded with them so well that I am looking for future projects where we can have the opportunity to work together again.
Starting the lineup, is Ms. Sandra.

Today, I met up with Watson, who so lovingly calls me "underpants".
Watson - a.k.a. Clark Kent, a.k.a. Superman - is a a wonderful little boy with incredible energy and imagination. He was absolutely a joy to work with and I hope I've made his mother proud.
Thank you, Watson.
(My son hasn't stopped talking about the "other" Superman and he wasn't even at the session!)

* Even Superman needs a little help every once and in a while.

I had an absolute blast with Lamont and Marshall this passed Sunday! I swear that I laughed the entire time my camera was in my hand.
At first, Lamont was determined to not have a good time (i.e., smile). Marshall on th other hand was up for anything.
Now, I don't know exactly who is going to look at this but if you're ever sat with me, the number one rule is HAVE FUN! That's all I ask because it shows when you're NOT having a good time.
Each frame from this session is filled with a smile (except two, I think, where I asked them to be serious. It didn't last long though - we cut up right after the first "serious" frame.)
Thank you, Marshall and Lamont. I had a ball and tell Truth (the munchkin) I said hello!
* I was playing around in Photoshop to produce this effect. I'm not sure if I like it yet.

The Truth.

Denise and I met at her house on Saturday with the intent on snapping a few for her friend in Iraq and getting some images of the cutest Yorkshire Terriers I have ever seen in my life!
Now most people that have met me will hear about my mammoth of a dog, Lucky, who at 1.5 years old, is able to place his paws on my shoulders! He is, of course, the Black Lab that I've always wanted but Denise's teacup terrier, Reagan (the misses), made me question if I really wanted a "man" dog.
Reign (the mister) was awesome, too - until it was time to shoot! He diverted his eyes away from the camera as much as possible until he was told that he could derobe.
Can you guess which is which?
[ hint: Denise is the human. ]

I had so much fun with Marcia today. We laughed a little, talked a little and I really feel like I was allowed to capture her honest spirit.
I met Marcia through a childhood friend (remember Miesha?) and luckily, Marcia liked Miesha's shoot so much that she booked me! I hope I've made you proud, Marcia!

I love to see people happy!
It's not often that you get to capture expected real moments! My aunt, uncle and cousins met me at Montebello Lake and snapped a few shots for the cam. The pictures are for an unofficial "official" family portrait.
I couldn't give them the Sears Portrait treatment - sorry Sears, but that's not my style.
We had fun in the great outdoors - Ebony even climbed a tree - her natural habitat (just joking Ebony!). It's amazing to see my aunt and uncle together after umpteen years - and they look just as happy as ever...
