I will be out of the office from Thursday, August 30th through Monday, September 3rd. The family and I are going to Florida to visit Mr. Mouse, or Mickey as we so lovingly know him.

This is going to be a blast and I will definitely include some images upon my return.

Calm, cool and collected was the mood for the day...and everything went without a hitch!

Congratulations, Robin + Jared!

Shea + Bill met while at college, as the story goes...and the rest? Is history in the making...

The weather was agreeably on our side - it wasn't too hot, too cold, it was (in unison) just right. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were in high spirits as people came from far and wide to witness the union of Shea and Bill.

I have seen a few grooms, but I don't think I've ever seem them noticably nervous. Bill, on the other hand, was definitely concerned that everything went well - for both himself and his wonderful bride, Shea.

There was the slight mishap of Shea's grandma overheating, but she was determined to see Shea celebrate her union with new hubby, Bill.

Congratulations, Shea + Bill!

* Bill's tie was made from the same fabric as Shea's dress, which means it was beautiful - but almost impossible to tie!

*This crowd was definitely famaliar with the dance floor! Shea knew words to songs I didn't even know - now that's a feat!

On August 7, my community hosted a "National Night Out", which to some extent is a large meet-and-greet but has a greater cause in mind.

National Night Out is to signify the coming together of neighbors to eradicate possible crime from their neighborhoods. I was asked to take a few photos - easy enough - I always have my camera in tow.

*This was an authentic signed football from the Ravens. It was a raffle prize to this young man.

*92Q provided music and games...and their Hummer wasn't too bad either!

Fire Station #5 even showed up to teach the kids fire safety (and to tour the fire engine).

*They even got grab bags!

*Last but not least, the Mystery Machine...

*Ade', Tya (of Eyeni Photography) and Alyssa.

I love to see people happy!

It's not often that you get to capture expected real moments! My aunt, uncle and cousins met me at Montebello Lake and snapped a few shots for the cam. The pictures are for an unofficial "official" family portrait.

I couldn't give them the Sears Portrait treatment - sorry Sears, but that's not my style.

We had fun in the great outdoors - Ebony even climbed a tree - her natural habitat (just joking Ebony!). It's amazing to see my aunt and uncle together after umpteen years - and they look just as happy as ever...

This is an oldie but goodie.

I photographed this a good while ago - and by good while, I mean April, this year. I loved the images and I wanted to use them in my portfolio, but if I add them all, it will definitely be overkill.

So, I'm saving my faves for the portfolio, but will add a few here.

The purpose of these images was to use these images for an online magazine: the interview and later, the performance. I know that all of these images are black and white, but hey - my eyes like what they like.

*I love this picture. There's another one that I love but it'll be in my portfolio!
