Brooke and Ernest's wedding was definitely one of celebration!

Their ceremony was gorgeous (hot, but gorgeous nonetheless). Their friends and family were ecstatic to see these two come together. The wedding was the most colorful that I've seen in a while - flourescent green, orange and pink yamika's and matching bright bouquets!

Congratulations, Brooke + Ernest!

*Could you have asked for a more picturesque setting?

*They played this game all evening! I still don't fully understand the objective.

Some of you may or not remember my childhood friend, Miesha, who I shot earlier this year [ and who also was not pregnant! ]

Well, now she is and this petite little woman has a belly to boot! After some tiresome mathematic calculations, we've come to the conclusion that we've known each other since primary school, which makes both us beautiful for our ages! (lol)

Ms. Miesha is going to come back when she's further along but I wanted to give you a preview of her five month session.

* My favorite from our shoot!

When people ask how Ambra and I met, the response we often get is, "oh, really..."

Ambra and I met about two years ago online when she was looking to have a website designed for a cafe, Noir Cafe'. Once we found out that we had children, both boys for that matter around the same age, we've been in close proximity ever since. Not only after that fairytale of a friendship, she moves in around the corner from me! Now, not only do our sons go to school together but they are best friends. And who says there's no such thing as happy endings?

Ambra's fiance, Charles (or Paris as I know him) are getting married in mid-September. Finally! I'm allowed the opportunity to be a guest instead of the standard wedding workout I'm accustomed to! Thanks, Ambra. I needed that.

I am always honored when I am allowed to photograph close friends because I'm allowed to share what is so awesome about them.

Congratulations, Ambra and Paris.

* We had to save the water works for last!

* I absolutely love this picture!

Katie and Matt have been dating since...forever, so it was no surprise to anyone that this day was coming when it did. You can't fabricate the feelings these two have towards each other: their smiles are more than contagious.

It was evident that this was a guaranteed match when you heard the best man (a childhood friend) and matron of honor (the groom's sis) congratulate the newlyweds with a toast.

Congratulations, Katie + Matt!

[ September 7th, 2007 was the most sought after date for weddings, which lets me know that August 8th, 2008 is going to be equally active next year! ]

Kim + Joe celebrated their union at the George Peabody Library in Mount Vernon and it was a blast! The groomsmen were obsessed with Reservoir Dogs and demanded that I take the classic "walk down the street with the cool shades" pictures.

Everyone had a good time and I didn't mind getting down on the dance floor either!
[ Journey rocks! (but don't tell anyone I said so) ]

Congratulations Kim + Joe!
